The research project Calori-faire took place on a period of two weeks. During the initial meeting, body composition, aerobic capacity as well as muscular strength were measured. Subsequently, daily energy expenditure, physical activity and sleep time were measured during a whole week with the help of a hybrid accelerometer. The participants were asked to maintain their normal pattern of activities during the first week. During the second week, participant were given a simple task : MOVE MORE BY ALL POSSIBLE MEANS. The project aimed to quantify the extent of changes to the level of physical activity, energy expenditure, sleep as well as the impact on body weight following the "active" week.
